Delta Junction.
We arrived in Delta Junction on Friday July 30 for a two day stay. Delta Junction is the official end of the Alaska Highway and home to Fort Greely Military Base for that contains mid course defense missals. The Alaska Pipe Line also passes through this area.
Our group had breakfast at Rika’s Roadhouse. It is historic site when all travel to the area was done by horse and wagon or dog sled. It dates back to 1910 and all of the buildings have been restored.
